Mexico APIS information
Starting January 1st 2014, all pilots entering or leaving Mexican Airspace are required to submit Mexico APIS. The fines for not complying start at $5,000 US Dollars. FlashPass now includes Mexico APIS. Our elegant solution uses the same data as the US eApis and sends it to Mexican INM (Mexican Immigration Services).
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
A valid Unlimited MEXICO AND USA Subscription is required to submit a manifest TO or FROM Mexico.
I am a FlashPass user. How do I send a Mexico APIS ?
- Mexico APIS requires an active Yearly FlashPass Subscription and a US Yearly Subscription.
- Notice:Pay as you Go customers cannot file a flight to or from Mexico.
- Visit our website to upgrade your account: www.flashpass.net
- Confirm Mexico APIS is enabled.
- iOS App: Select Settings Section (bottom right) / Settings Gear / Enable Mexico APIS.
- Web App: Preferences / Options / Enable Mexico APIS.
- Send your USA eApis as usual.
- FlashPass will automatically send your Mexico APIS.
- You should receive three emails:
- 1st from US Customs a few minutes after submitting.
- 2nd from FlashPass with Mexico APIS confirmation a few minutes after submitting.
- 3rd from FlashPass will arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure with re-confirmation of Mexico APIS.
- To be clear: You will receive 3 emails for each leg you submit.
